GENERAL CONTRACTOR WITH STEVEN DAILEY CONSTRUCTION IN SALT LAKE CITY
Stephanie became a licensed general contractor in 2019 while working with her father building high-end custom homes, and she made an immediate impact in her homebuilding community as a leader and volunteer. In 2019, she was honored with the Presidents Award from the Salt Lake Home Builders Association (SLHBA). The next year, the SLHBA recognized her again with the Golden Hammer Award for “above and beyond” service to the industry. Stephanie joined the Build Show as a contributor in 2023. In 2024, she was named president of the Utah Valley Home Builders Association, becoming the first woman ever to hold the title.
Stephanie started her career at age 16 with a job at an architecture firm. She learned different aspects of the industry over the next several years, working in roles including production, marketing and real estate. In 2017, she decided to join her father and earned her general contracting license two years later.
Stephanie is an advocate for women in the construction industry and received the Emily Roebling Award from CAT Footwear for representing “the strength and tenacity of women in the trades.”
